First, click on the "My Page" tab at the top of your social network. You'll see a link on the right side of the page that says, "Add Blog Post!" Click that link to start a new blog post.
Start on your profile page. You will see a link in the header of the page that says "Manage Blog." Follow that link. On the Manage Blog page, check the box next to the post you want to delete and then press the "Delete" button. This will remove that blog post from your network.

No. To become friends with someone you need to send them a friend request. You can do this by going to the Members page on your social network. You'll see that every member has an "Add as friend" link under his or her profile photo. Click the "Add as friend" link to send someone a request to be your friend.
You can easily block people from contacting you. If a member is sending you messages through Ning but isn't on any of your networks, click "block messages from this person" on any of the messages they send you. This will prevent them from contacting you in the future.
A Chatterwall is a place where you can leave a note on another member's profile for everyone to see.

When you join a network, we create a private email address that you can use to easily email in photos or videos to the network from your computer or mobile phone. You can't receive regular email at this private address, so there's no need to change the email address associated with your Ning ID.

The best way to change the order of photos in a slideshow is to put them in an album. You can do this by clicking on "My Albums" and then clicking on "Create an Album."
On the Create an Album page you can choose which photos you'd like in your album and specify their order. Once you've done this, click "Save" to see your final product. On the lower right side of the page, a mini slideshow will be playing. Click "view this slideshow" to see it full screen. You can also click the "Embed" button to get code to put this slideshow on your blog or MySpace page.
The most obvious place to add widgets, videos, photo slideshows, or text links is in the Text Box feature.
The Text Box also shows up by default on your member profile page.
The Text Box supports some HTML (see definition below) and can be easily used to add text links to sites off your network, display a video from YouTube , or add a photo slideshow from Slide.

The widget provider will give you 'embed' code for the widget. All you need to do is insert the code into the text box and click the save button. Here are a few great widgets to try.

You can upload a video by clicking on the "Video" tab and selecting "Add a video." You can add videos from your computer, cell phone, email account, or any service that provides video embed code like YouTube , Google Video, Audio Acrobat or Brightcove.
We support .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .3gp and .wmv video formats.
After you upload a video, we need to convert it to Flash so that your visitors can watch it without needing to install any additional software. This process usually takes between 5 and 20 minutes, depending on the length of your video. It might take a bit longer if a large video is the queue in front of you. If your video still hasn't converted after a few hours, please Contact Ning, and they'll get to the bottom of it.
