Name:: Declan Dunn

About You:: I develop communities online for teaching and for profit. Been doing grass roots/social activism through education for years, and have one site, Remember.org, that is an amazing example of peace in action and collaboration.

While we have the technology, my real drive is helping people connect and collaborate, which many can say yet few put into action. Remember.org literally reaches millions of students a year, is a community driven by love, peace, and a better future, and is based on stories.

Which is what I do...help people share their stories.

How Would You Create Peace?: Make peace profitable -- when all the countries that sit on the UN Inner Councils are the top weapons dealers in the world -- US, China, France, Germany, et al -- we are all working in an economy driven by war and destruction. It's influenced the way we make cars, energy, everything...it's consume and destroy, something the US is hopefully detoxing from...

And YES, the hope is so there...we have to change and make it profitable for people to live together, to not destroy each other. Green is obviously one avenue, Internet is opening many others where people can connect.

Until we address the economic underpinnings, we will have trouble moving to peace...while it won't be instant change, what is happening right now in my humble opinion is part of this shift to peace, and making it profitable for us all to live together and understand.

Or as the rabbi once said to the student who kept asking him how he became such a spiritual man....his response

"Peace...the rest is commentary".

Jody showed us your site Remember - profound - Holocaust Survivor Martin Grey is a friend...author 13 books including "For Those Who I Loved" - lost all members of his family during the Holocaust..became the biggest food smuggler into the Warshaw getto...joined the Russian army...later made his fortune after the war,,,moved to France...married had four children...then in 1970 his wife and four children were burned alive in a forest fire.

I have a recorded interview and transcription with him if your interested.

Have an amazing story told to me about by a monk about the Germans in Crete called "Return to Love"....

Thank you for this most amazing gift to the world.
